It doesn't always "just work."
Apple users were confronted with that hard truth Monday morning as scores of the company's core services experienced outages. According to Apple's system status page, which during the course of writing this article itself stopped working, affected Apple products included:
App Store
Apple Arcade
Apple Music
Apple TV+
Apple Care on Device
Device Enrollment Program
Find My
iCloud Calendar
iCloud Contacts
iCloud Mail
iCloud Private Relay
iTunes Store
Maps Display
Maps Routing and Navigation
Maps Search
Maps Traffic
Podcasts
Radio
We asked Apple how many users were affected, and what caused the problems with its services, but received no immediate response.
Meanwhile, multiple people on Twitter claimed that Apple's store systems were also down.
