If you bought Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone(Sorcerer's Stonein the U.S.) when it was first released, get ready to feel tragically aware of the passage of time. This year, the book is celebrating its twentieth anniversary.
Luckily, publisher Bloomsbury is releasing a set of new Potter book covers to celebrate the occasion. As Pottermore announed on Friday, the designs are by illustrator Levi Pinfold, and there's one for each of the four Hogwarts houses as well as separate covers for hardback and paperback volumes. So, yes, you'll feel old, but you can also buy a cool new book.
According to Pottermore's announcement, the new editions will be available in June. How do you know which cover to pick? Well, you've had 20 years to get Sorted. Get to it. And start saving your Galleons.
