New Zealanders are really into creating social media accounts for their animals.
Even the country's incoming Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, whose cat Paddles -- a ginger and white cat with opposable thumbs -- has its own Twitter account, @FirstCatofNZ.

However, there's speculation that it's run by Ardern's partner, Clarke Gayford, a host of a TV fishing show.

"There is indeed an account in the name of my cat and I have no idea who has created it," Ardern told the news outlet.
"I am quite happy for that person to continue logging on behalf of Paddles, keeping in mind Paddles has thumbs, I can't put it past her it's her own account as well."
Who wouldn't own up to being this the voice behind this adorable ball of fur?
