Redditor Aub3912 shared a tale Tuesday of perhaps the worst thing that can happen to someone while their lashes are clamped in a curler — she sneezed.
The result is just as tragic as you'd expect.

"I really thought I ripped my eyelid in half," she wrote. Luckily, that wasn't the case, but her right eye does have about half the usual number of eyelashes.
Remember, one cannot trust a cruel machine.
And yes, the eyelashes will grow back. In time.
