DLSS 4 Upscaling at 4K is Actually Pretty Amazing
The most interesting aspect of Nvidia's new RTX 50 series is not the GPUs themselves – not even close – and it's not multi-frame generation either. It's DLSS 4 Super Resolution upscaling, which has received a substantial update aimed at improving visual quality.
The old CNN AI model has been replaced with a newer, larger Transformer model, which Nvidia claims can achieve a level of quality that wasn't possible with previous versions of DLSS. So how good is DLSS 4 upscaling? Let's find out.
