Chris Evans passionately defends Cool Ranch Doritos amidst heated chip debate
Chris Evans loves Cool Ranch Doritos, and he's not about to apologize for his good taste.
After comedian Kevin Fredericks posted a video on Twitter in an attempt to determine the correct ranking of chips found in a Frito-Lay variety pack, passionate chip lovers like Evans shared their own personal rankings on Twitter.
Sadly, no one could reach a consensus as to which chip is best, and when Evans gave the top spot to Cool Ranch Doritos his Giftedco-star Octavia Spencer wasn't too happy.
"Dude? Seriously?????? Now you know Cheetos is top dawg," Spencer tweeted at her pal, to which Evans swiftly came to the defense of his beloved chips.

"Look, this wasn’t easy for me. But the bottom line is, I can put in more work on a bag of Cool Ranch than any other chip. Let’s just acknowledge their dominance and move on. I really don’t want this to affect our friendship," Evans tweeted back at Spencer.

For those curious, the actor known for his role as Captain America doeslike Cheetos — so much so that he gave them the second spot in his ranking, followed by Nacho Cheese Doritos, Fritos, Barbecue Lay's, and Classic Lay's.

Now Evans claimshe likes the flavor of the chips, and I don't doubt that because they're delicious as hell, but there may be another reason he's a fan.

On Tuesday afternoon, Avengers: Infinity War co-star Don Cheadle got involved in the great chip debate, and revealed that he thinks BBQ Lay's are clearly the best option.

"This is EXACTLY what the chips want us to do!!!" Evans responded.
Everyone is entitled to their own Best Chip opinion, but though we might not all agree, as Evans said, it's important not to let the rankings ruin friendships.
Do I think Nacho Cheese Doritos are the top choice, followed by Cool Ranch? Yes. Do I think Evans' ranking is incorrect? Absolutely! But I still love him as an actor and will not hold this against him.
Our differences are what make this weird-ass world so interesting, so let's try to embrace them, I guess.
